I would like to say that the teller who served me on both occasions is Paulene, she is such a lovely person to speak to and she had my dilemma sorted out in a moment.... exceptional quality of service ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The banking hours are stupid. I work and do not finish work like most people till after 4.30pm. Its about time Westpac opened till at least 5.30pm so that people who work can get to the bank to do thosethings needing face to face interaction.
Open later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well appointed Westpac bank. It has everything you would need including an ATM that is securely access after hours. I especially like this ATM as you are able to withdraw exact amounts of money. The machine dispenses notes and coins which can be very helpful especially when heading to the nearby dairy to purchase milk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to make appt to open a joint account and was told I had to call the base branch to make an appointment here at Te Awamutu. Was left waiting for a while and the lady i spoke to couldn't get access to find their phone number
She said they close at 2pm but the girls can take appointments after that time. She couldn't give me a rough time for the latest appointment during the week roughly.
Dissapointing especially for a new customer trying to open an account
