★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I realise this is a long time ago, but in 2006 my sons (he was 10 years old) counsellor at whakatata house told me to tie his door handle to the opposite door handle in my hallway so he couldn't get out because he was screaming in terror every night and seeing "shadow people". I listened to the counsellor and did as I was told. This is still haunting me and filling me with guilt to this day. I still hear his screams begging for help and it kills me
