The township offers great restaurants, cafes and shopping. There is a 9 and 18 hole golf course, a wide range of bush walks and mountain bike tracks.
The peninsula is a haven for many artists with galleries to visit and is a great base for meandering further afield to explore the delights the Coromandel has to offer like Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room here for my daughter and her new husband for their wedding night, The room was spectacular and Laureen and Terry were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The later check out was great and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this B & B.
