★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in the bush, only accessible via walkways this wee playground is a gem. This is one of our faves! Walk in from Solander Place or the walkway off Discovery Drive by Whitby Collegiate School.

Spinny play park is just about in walking range for our toddlers along the Whitby Walkway. We come here fairly often if we have a couple of hours to spend tiring them out.
The a bit old but the equipment is in good condition and well looked after. It is in a pedestrianised area - no roads to worry about. The space is big and open with grass, trees and native bush. It is a really peaceful spot where you can relax while the kids blow off steam.
There is a stream at the back that could be a hazard but it is far enough away that- so far - our kids haven't shown any interest.
This one is on our regular list and gets five stars because it's close to home. Probably not worth a trip if you have to drive here.
