Teenaa koutou katoa! Welcome to our new revamped Whitiora School website page which gives you a glimpse of our amazing community. Whitiora is a great little school situated in the H.E.A.R.T. of Hamilton City catering for students from Year 1-8. We are a dual medium school with the establishment of our rumaki reo class in 2020.

We understand that there have been many challenges for our community, especially with covid, and are currently creating our Whitiora School localised curriculum of hauora - wellbeing and strength based learning. Our curriculum aims to focus on celebrating identity, celebrating diversity, celebrating community, celebrating our local stories and celebrating the successess of our tamariki.
Whitiora School offers the skills and knowledge of our pastoral care team Te Puumanawa o Whitiora (The Pulsating Heartbeat of Whitiora). The team consists of our fulltime guidance counsellor, fulltime social worker, our Learning Support Coordinator (LSC), and the senior leadership team.
Although we are still creating content for our website we are excited to have it as another platform to share the awesome learning and teaching that is happening at our kura.
