HERE'S WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
Wimbledon villa is privileged to be able to offer an elder care in a homely type environment with staff trained to a high standard. Our facility is based on "Eden care" principles; a philosophy encouraging one's 'spark of life'.
Wimbledon Villa is located close to the town centre. The home is built around a beautiful 1880s homestead, fully modernised with purpose-built amenities and bedroom wings. Much of it’s original charm and character has been retained, the home is bright, sunny and has a warm friendly atmosphere.
We have two distinct areas to our home:
- Rose Wing for Hospital level and rest home residents
- Courtyard Wing - our specialised area for residents needing dementia care
We offer a very safe and secure environment but residents also have the freedom to come and go indoors and outdoors as they please and enjoy our lovely gardens and surroundings. We have three separate outdoor areas that have been developed in liaison with HammondCare. In liaising with HammondCare dementia specialists in Sydney, Australia, we have established two delightful interactive dementia specific courtyards.
