Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practised in China for thousands of years. Chinese medicine looks at pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance. The aim of acupuncture treatment is to re-establish the free flow of vital energy, often referred to as "Qi", to restore the body's equilibrium and trigger the body's natural healing response. The qualified doctor will puncture into the body surface at strategic points using very fine sterilised disposable needles and leave the needles in place with different stimulations to achieve therapeutic effects. The use of needles is virtually painless.

I'd been to many doctors, naturopaths, and specialists, I'd tried countless products and treatments, and none of which were able to help me fully cure my acne. I was feeling at a low in my acne journey, where I was willing to try anything that could help, and when I heard about Judy and what she does, I felt a relief that this was another option that was worth trying. After 3 months of acupuncture, my skin was transformed, and both my stress and anxiety improved so much. This was reflected through my mood and outlook on life, as my skin began to improve. Many months down the track, I am now almost entirely cured of my acne, and I cannot thank Judy enough for how grateful I am. Not only is Judy great at what she does, but she has become such a supportive and positive figure in my life.

My beauty therapist asked what I've been doing to my skin because she noticed the smaller pores and incredibly reduced depth of my crow's feet and other creases on my face. I started seeing Judy in the winter of 2017 to help with anovulatory polycystic ovarian syndrome, debilitating endometriosis and an acute lower back injury. I had been recently diagnosed by my gynaecologist with endometriosis and was advised surgery was my only option. I declined the surgery and began seeing Judy for weekly acupuncture appointments. After just one session I knew I was in the right place, Judy is so kind and perceptive to my needs, words can’t describe her ability to pinpoint and remedy an area of concern.
Within only a few months my periods significantly improved, I began to ovulate and my lower back pain resolved. I had a follow-up appointment with my gynaecologist who reported I no longer had any signs of endometriosis and that she had not seen such improvements without surgery. With my body now in balance I was finally able to conceive and now have two children.
Judy has made acupuncture a wonderful experience for me and her work has greatly improved the quality of my life.
