★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Besides the sometimes long wait to see a CM, I've never experienced anything too negative. As long as you show them you ain't an idiot, they won't muck you around. Knowing your rights & entitlements helps. If I have any hassles I see an advocate. If nothings still not resolved, I go straight to an MP. Nothing scares WINZ more than someone from Parliament.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of people who work at this office do not have a clue about NZ laws and acts and seem to do what is convenient for them and not what is actually lawful but its not the only WINZ office like this. I have had many difficulties and do not recommend this branch. Very inefficient and problematic with inconsistent information. Keep a paper trail but that may not even help you here. Could take 2 months before they get back to you to resolve a problem- way too long. Lack of communication and inefficiencies seem to be the main problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly disorganised. Was there as my father was in hospital and was applying on his behalf for a disabled benefit. Completely useless and the lady at the front didn't seem to know certain procedures.
