World Solar installed our solar panels in 2015 and then we decided to install a battery in 2019 with them. We cannot speak highly enough on their installation and office team. We love our solar and have recommended them to many friends.

World Solar were great to deal with throughout the installation process. The installation and admin team were amazing and our power accounts are now next to nothing. I would highly recommend choosing World Solar to anyone.

I have asked World Solar Invercargill to come and sort out their system , but still waiting , so i have decided to do this review to hopefully help me get my system going . First up, when I ordered the system I had brilliant service , very professional and once I placed my order the unit was installed within the week and a very tidy job. Stupid me! I was so happy I decided to pay them the full amount - They told me it will take about 30 days max to get meter put in . After about three weeks I checked with solar and they said it was typical of the power companies to take their time, however, when I checked with our power company I found World Solar had not put in my application- first hold up . Then it was me having to contact World Solar and co-ordinating the power company to try to sort an inspector and meters etc , Another 3 weeks go by and the meters get installed .I phoned solar about turning on the inverter and was told just do what it says on the front panel.The front panel only tells you how to disconnect' the system and not the correct way to turn the system on at all . also we did not get any paper work on the system , no information at all , but a scrap of paper with my password and user name but nothing about how to use it.So via the internet I found most of the information but was not given the access code to the unit itself . So I contacted world solar again to express my disappointment. They said someone will contact me to sort the inverter and give me the manuals etc..2 months later- we are still waiting..... solar panels on the roof but no power being delivered. I then left a message on their phone again(many messages have been left in the past with no response) At this stage I wish I had used another company . I give good service, and good information in my job, so I get upset when I experience poor service like this when I am paying good money. The main problem that has upset me the most is the receptionists attitude when I phone to try and get the problem resolved. I feel like she just thinks I'm a pain and makes me feel stupid. She denies the fact that we haven't received any manuals or instructions and no demonstration whatsoever. She says she will get it sorted and nothing happens. I think if we had received better support after the installation we would have been happy however it seems that because we have paid they are finished with us....and are hoping we will just go away. This is the first poor review I have ever posted and I hate doing it but feel desperate.

Love our solar panels. The whole crew were very good to deal with, including the ladies in the office.

We have used World Solar on two occasions. Doone and the team are great to deal with. They provide good service and a good product. We believe solar should be installed on every new build - especially here in Southland. Good bang for buck! Doesn't take long to see return on investment :)

We found World Solar exceptional to deal with from their communication, the administration, the installation and following up afterwards. Top service. Highly recommend.
