on reading all these reviews the common thread is lack of immediate support... no phone support??? Really??? This is really going back to the dark ages when communication was done by pony express or similar. Actually pony express was probably faster!nI have an urgent issue and have asked to be called, the response time is 23 hours! REALLY???? come on guys... WAKE UP! I have wasted 3 hours trying to resolve the issue that 1 of my staff can't log in. he Wasted another 4 hours. This is costing me BIG TIME! I have to pay him for his time... it stopping me doing my own job because I'm trying to resolve the issue so he can do his job. NOT COOL! Just put in a chat help line if you're so determined not to have phone support. Everyone else does this.

A small number of your staff, drunk, blasting music through your sound system at full volume when it’s almost midnight on a Thursday is quite disrespectful to the community and a bad look for Xero.

Beautiful office, passionate employees and great product! If you're thinking of changing the world (through software) and want to be a part of an innovative culture, do inquire at Xero. Otherwise, you should at least use their product, which has revolutionised the industry.

Absolutely not recommending ! You always have to reconcile transactions, you get no training or help after you subscribed. They have no email address or phone to call for quick help on the go. They have designed a new security check that does not even work as you do not get the notification you are supposed to get on your phone to be able to access your account, so you need to wait for an email password and so on and so on. It is just designed to make your accountant's life easier but definitely not yours. It is quite expensive knowing that you are the one (business owner) having to do everything so your accountant gets a sum-up at the end of the financial year.

Relatively quick response from customer service with satisfying result. Still would prefer a live chat function for support also.

Their system is for people with no accounting knowledge and doesnt allow you to make adjustments to suit your needs, some things get locked into the way they want and are greyed out and cannot be altered (i was the administrator so should have had full access). Their customer service is slow, you cannot contact them when you need them. Each question has a 4-5hour minumum wait time to get answered SO much lost time. When a reply is sent they just copy paste links to online articles for you to spend hours reading trying to self solve your problem I. cancelled within 1 day as to much down time, they still want to charge for a full month even if you don't use it plus every extra day beyond that month. Review has been edited as after mutliple contact with the billing team they agreed to a refund. Was previously a 1 star

I have been with Xero for seven years. At first my experience was positive, but overtime I have found very little progress with improvements. The customer support is really bad and trying to navigate the help often ends with going around in a loop. The Xero payroll part of Xero is extremely frustrating to use and would not recommend. The Xero Me App for employees is littered with bugs. Work site pay items can be removed by administrator but continue to show up in the App. Extremely frustrated overall.

Have been using Xero many years now. Exceptionally good and helped lot our business. Very user friendly and easy to use. We have a complex operation, still very rarely we need to contact support team, even if we do always there to help. Excellent system to work with.
