Paul Carrington
Paul has been practising law since 1987 and has been a partner in different law firms around New Plymouth since 1991. In 2000, he joined with Peter Young to form Young + Carrington - what is now Young Carrington + Ussher. Paul has extensive experience in property and commercial law, particularly in land development, rural law, commercial transactions and employment.
Before practising law, he worked in industrial relations at the Patea Freezing Works, as a driller at the Patea Dam, before milking 300 cows at Ohangai.

Chris Ussher
Chris joined Paul in partnership in 2013 after spending five years practising at other firms in New Plymouth.
A property and commercial lawyer, he has particular expertise in the energy sector, local government issues and in trusts. Before practising law, Chris worked in senior advisory roles at the Treasury and the Ministry of Social Development in Wellington. As a result, he has an in-depth understanding of government.

Doug Hill
Doug has been practising law in Taranaki for 36 years and has worked for this firm since its inception in 2000. He has been resident lawyer at Waitara since 1983.
Doug practices mainly in the areas of property law and conveyancing, estate administration, Wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
