She helped me get placed into a role here in NZ even though I was living in Australia at the time, and organised phone calls and interviews, as well as chasing down people I needed for all the paperwork. Super easy process, they even sent me a cake once I got the job.

It is when the journey begins and 40 Foot will get you the best job there is and the best candidates you deserve for your company. I know it because they helped me secure a job during the Covid-19 lockdown. I made the first step and called them. Not much hope during the Covid-19 lockdown. Guess what? I made the first step, they made the second to contact the client, third to get a contract, and before knowing it I was on a journey working with the best companies in the market and technical minded people. Was in contact with a recruiter here - got a slew of txt messages, phone calls, LinkedIn messages from Sarah regarding an opportunity were the client company was "really keen" after having seen my past experience. On request by Sarah I spent ages digging up examples of past work I'd done, compiling that into an email, to have 40foot send to the client company on my behalf.
Email prepared and sent - waited. Nothing from 40 foot for over a week. Sent an email follow up - nothing. "Ghosted".
Perhaps my email's weren't getting through? Email confirmed getting through - 40 foot were very responsive to other enquiries... Interesting.
40 foot demonstrated textbook bad behavior from what I experienced to be a below average agency.
Also interesting to see "damage control" well underway with a bunch of "5 star" reviews suddenly appearing days after my first review. For future applicants, keep in mind that "it's not you, it's them". I will steer well clear of 40foot in future.

Their approach is people centric and focused on "fit" rather than generic question and answers. I truly got the sense they cared about ensuring the role was right for me and vice versa.
Their attitude and communication style builds trust and I'm sure appeals to a wide range of capable candidates.
