★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the unfortunate experience of breaking down 2 hours from home and had to leave the 4WD in Whangarei and head home. The next morning one phone call and Judy and the team had organised to pick up the truck from where it was by lunch time and had it fixed by the afternoon. Could not recommend this place more, incredible service!!!! Thanks so much again :) Great job

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Toyota Hiace overheated after we got scammed when buying it. Judy and Warren welcomed us to their family work shop and gave us a professional and kind service with an honest price. It was the best we could hope for in this unfortunate situation.

After changing brake pad, there is no solid brake pedal. They even didn't test it before let the car go. then I drove the dangerous car home without effective brake. I was lucky, my home is not far, nothing happened on the road. I drove it very slow and pressed the brake in advance.
Second day, in the morning, I brought the car back to the shop. after a few hours, they told me my master cylinder is not working. you need to spent another 190 for the spare part from Auckland. What! My car is really reliable and just got a new WOF. I just want to replace the brake pad nothing to do with my brake hydraulic system. I'm a marine engineer and I have consulted my mechanic friend too. meanwhile I have searched a lot what could damage my master cylinder. only reason is the incorrect operation when opening up the caliper for brake pad.
Then I went to the shop, try to ask what's wrong with my car. the lady there sitting on her chair not answering my inquiry and said your car is old! what! My car is good before your brake pad replacing. I said I only need to replace my brake pad, what's wrong with my master cylinder. the lady answered: "because it's leaking!"
" why is it leaking?" I said.
" because it's old, leave the shop!" the lady lost her patience.
I calmed her down and said I'm trying to communicate with you and to know what's wrong with my car that's all.
I don't want to write more words here. I feel really bad with people like them treating customer like this. I paid high price for a brake pad replacing meanwhile had an awful experience.
what a shame, lowered my scores on kiwi people.

We found them because another mechanic in town recommended them for this type of job. Best price in town so far we know! Very satisfied with their service.
