★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dreadful. The owner is arrogant and deceitful. Accomodation sub standard, and dangerous (powercord coming through window into power point - water dripping onto it - photo to prove). I just completed a 11 day bike ride through NZ - he was not pleasant to deal with at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fish are biting with Justin in Oakura!! My wife had never been fishing and Justin was amazing. Made her super comfortable and was a great laugh! We went out for 2.5 hrs and she caught a bunch of fish. I only got one. A wonderful time, memorable stories and unbeatable price - recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost 10 years ago, my partner took me to see Justin for my first ever fish and got me hooked. Yesterday we went out with Justin so my 2 year old son could catch his first fish. It was a perfect day and we caught heaps of fish! My son was ecstatic! Justin and Ngawai are amazing hosts. The holiday home is warm and cozy and we had an awesome weekend away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy retro camper van is amazing! The best of the Bay of Islands without the business of Paihia. And you can do all sorts of fun activities like kayaking, surfing, SUP and definitely go out on the boat fishing!
