★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in to get my licence updated and was served by Gemma who was friendly and knowledgeable. Took a bit of time due to the amount of info that needed to be logged and some points that needed to be clarified, but was quite happy to wait. However, an older lady there had obviously forgotten that patience is a virtue and was very condescending to staff as they attempted to help her, and made several disparaging comments about the wait time, but obviously the form she had requested was not a common one. The staff member who was serving her was plainly trying to get ahold of it (asked other staff members, went through file cabinets, and eventually pulled the manager in who had to print it), and even offered the customer a seat to wait, but apparently nothing short of her waltzing in, skipping the queue, and being handed her form within 30 seconds flat would have been acceptable. Just wanted to leave this review as a polite reminder to anyone considering going into the AA that the majority of the work that they do is very document heavy, and thus takes time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant staff, wanting to add three extra policies to my portfolio, only one small problem, no one qualified to write out policies, for a further 2 1/2 weeks, no cover staff available. As the year rolls through I am transferring all AMI policies to them, this performance is very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No staff able to help, closes at 5pm but they do whatever they can to stop serving customers from 4pm. Waited for 40 minutes to be told at 4.40pm they wouldn’t have time to handle my very simple transaction. There were 4 other staff members milling around doing not a lot and only 1 person able to do anything! None of these applications are online yet their in person set up is slow, and time consuming.

The chap I had was not swearing or abusive but he had tone & was clearly frustrated - this was even before he started to look at my vehicle.
Administration staff were excellent A+
