★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a building report completed by Graeme through AA House Checks. Graeme's communication throughout the process was fantastic. The report was completed to an excellent standard and clearly identified issues with the property along with advice on how they should be corrected and suitable time frames for when they should be done. The whole process was very efficient from our initial contact with administration through to receiving the final report. I highly recommend AA House checks for anyone after a building inspection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AA House Checks has provided us with a builders report for the purchase of our new home, not only where they prompt in ever aspect from the office through to the inspector and then the quick turn around in receiving the report which was very informative in all aspects of the building and property, the follow up phone call from the person who did the inspection was wonderful as I was able to ask any questions I had about the report, a great service. I could not find any fault with them at all and would highly recommend them to anyone, and we would happily use them again in any future purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can’t say enough good things about the team at AA House Checks. Their communication, expertise and thoroughness has been our go-to as we search for our first home. Here in Christchurch the earthquakes have added a level of complexity to home buying but we’ve been able to bid with confidence as a result of their inspections. Insurance companies and banks have been more than happy to deal with us as a result of these building reports. They’ve also saved us from some lemons! Our building inspector caught problems that were missed or concealed that would have been a real headache. They also go above and beyond to ensure everything has been looked at, as well as following up with contractors or other inspectors to get the whole story. Our non-negotiable before we pursue a house in earnest is an inspection by the team at AA House Checks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the cheapest around but when you want to spend close to a million clams you want to make sure you are using the best or thereabouts.
We found this with AA House Checks. Used them in Feb 2021 before going to Auction. Very responsive, quick to deliver the report and great detail and easy to navigate report . All the standard stuff you'd expect form a report but particular attention to minor things the untrained eye cannot see. Living in the property for several months now we find ourselves going back to this report to tick off some of these. Some of which we have I only just noticed.
What I also liked was the recommendations and links of contractors to those who can help repair or fix said maintenance. Will recommend to anyone wanting a good though report and will use again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading 100s of building reports I can confidently say AA house checks provide the best I’ve seen. Reports are detailed yet easy to read and colour coded for easy reference. Graham is a pleasure to deal with and takes the time to run through any questions you have. His knowledge of NZs history of building codes and regulations can not be beaten. Would recommend AA house checks to anyone.

AA House Checks was instrumental to our latest property purchase. With Graeme's report, we were able to negotiate our prices down and get a full picture of what we were buying into.
All in all, we ordered three reports from him, for three separate properties, and each one reflected a keen eye for detail, and expertise in Christchurch property inspections.
Graeme was easy to work with, and he also helped us verify EQC repairs.
I would highly recommend AA House Checks for your next property inspection.
