Our room was spacious, clean, airy and equipped with extra blankets , pillows with everything we needed.
I would recommend this motel as a pleasure to stay at and will definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given that this is really affordable accommodation I have to give it five stars. The rooms are generous so your not cramped in as a family and there are very comfortable lazy boys and couches which always makes a stay better! The kitchen is a decent size. This would be a great place in the summer when the pool is running.
Over all I highly recommend for family trips.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived with no notice stressed from the accommodation we had bkd into being terrible, and they without hesitation took us in.
The staff they have employed went over and beyond in looking after us, they were all very hard workers.
The family enviroment was felt throughout the stay. The rms were amazing, clean, warm and relaxing.
The spa was lovely and the playground was safe and fun.
I cannot fault the owners, staff or accommodations at all.
I recommend you stay here without hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After originally heading to Masterton to stay at a hotel previously booked for our getaway, we decided that the hotel booked was inadequate and was actually just quiet disgusting. After literally walking in our room at the Copthorne then walking straight back out we searched for better accommodation to better suit our needs, and that is when we came across the Acorn Estate.
They were fully booked but told us to pop down to have a look at a room that could potentially be made available for us. When we went to the Acorn we were very surprised as the photos on the internet DO NOT do this beautiful little motel justice! The room was spacious, clean, well presented, homey and very welcoming. The owners were absolutely lovely and very welcoming which is just what we were needing after a bit of a travel to Masterton.
The environment was beautiful, very family orientated and child friendly. They have everything there for the whole family to enjoy! Play ground, swings, trampolines, pool, paddle pool, spa bath ? They have all the amenities available and the staff are AMAZING!! I can not express how wonderful it was to be there! We will definitely be coming back again!
