β β β β β Large part of building still closed due to earthquake damage review, so main collection not open to public.
Good time to see Monarch butterflies in garden

β β β β β Always a pleasurable experience visiting the Aigantighe. The staff are ALL awesome and certainly know how to make people feel welcome and comfortable. And where do I start with compliments about the exhibitions, artist talks and other events? What a treasure of experiences are offered to us!

β β β β β Charming little gallery with a pretty large outdoor section of sculptures. Unfortunately no gift shop, would have loved to buy some of the paintings as a postcard..

β β β β β Went to visit the Art Gallery at 3pm this afternoon to find out it was closed, even though the website and the closing time on the door says 4pm. We saw a staff inside the store and they just looked at us and turned around and walked away. Very disappointing, wouldnβt go pack there again!!

β β β β β Special place, this is the 3rd year I've been during autumn to see the monach butterflies and enjoy the beautiful gardens & sculptures. Love the Time Bomb. Staff as always very friendly and welcoming. Remember the butterflies are high up in the tree.
