Took a whale watching flight with a few friends and the experience was well worth the price.
Friendly staff, scenic views and we saw Orcas!
The pilot did really well to make sure we got a nice view, no matter where we were sitting. I would definitely recommend it. Even if you don’t end up seeing whales (it’s never guaranteed) the views are spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable. We had a great flight and I felt a flight certainly represented good value for money - (no sea sickness either). When asked, the suggestions we received on where we could dine that night did not disappoint either :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience to flying with them. Unfortunately didn't see any whale. but lots of dolphins and other marine life. also great views of coastline of kaikoura. pilot n staff were too good. they gave me card n offer me for another flight for next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. Missed the whale the first time around so the pilot took us back to land and took us for a second flight to ensure we saw one. Would highly recommend this company as it is a nonprofit and the funds go back in to the aeroclub.

Pilot is a nice and cheerful lady who was kind enough to add 15 minutes to our fly time at last moment and that too on a discounted price. Plus, we were lucky enough to spot a sperm whale in those extra 15 minutes, so a win win situation for us..happy to recommend to others ??
