★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great trip downstream on Airborn's SUP this morning. Went for 1 hour and Joe arranged for paddle board to come back. It was a good workout for a 73 yr old body, and very peaceful and beautiful with the tree foliage just starting to turn. Didn't fall off, so Joe's waterproof pouch for phone not used!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A ton of fun!!! Sunday morning, four of us, departed from the band rotunda. Saw Christchurch from a total different angle that we would never had seen any other way. Beautiful, peaceful, fun, loads of giggles and super cool. Chilled out really nice guy running it...Tim I think- sorry if I got that wrong ? Do it- you'll regret not!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Review of Airborn Paddling trip along the Avon River from the Edmond Band Rotunda downstream for about 1 h. Last day of 2021, warm day, 3 pm. John, Sumner.
Our family group of 9 was made up of three generations, none of whom had previous experience of paddle-boarding. We chose a downstream trip with Airborn Paddling along the Avon river in Christchurch. Joe, our guide, said he would guide our teams (of 3 on a smaller board, and 6 on a huge board) from his own board. We saw much of the red zone over more than an hour.
At least one of the 3 teens voted their paddle-boarding trip as top hit amongst their various adventure trips of their Christmas holidays. The others also enjoyed themselves - Joe offered his board to one of us and kept an expert eye on us while jogging along the shore. Almost everyone achieved standing without falling overboard during the trip and was congratulated by Joe. We recommend this low-key adventure to anyone. We are certainly keen to do another trip
