For those that went through the quakes, still a bit raw. But definitely worth a look. Half price at the moment with school holidays and kids are free

Interessting museum explaining everything about the earthquake that hit the city in 2011. There are a lot of information, presented in a wide variety of different media. Also many interactive things for kids and adults. The highlight is a movie of approx. 70min showing how different people experienced the earthquake. On the downside, compared to other museums it seems to be a bit expensive.

Very interesting infos about the earthquake in ChCh. Before and after with a lot of interviews, photos and video material. It’s super informative to get an idea what happened here in ChCh. And how awesome the city looks now, it’s a totally new city. This place is highly recommended for everybody it has a great story to tell. I really enjoyed every minute it was very informative. It was also very hard to see all that pain, I think nobody could really understand how does that feels, except the citizens who went through. Staff is very friendly.

Quake City provided an affecting and knowledge insight into how Christchurch and its people have endured through the past 12 years. Everything from the scientific/geographic information screens to the police photos and artefacts (including the Cathedral Spiral) were well presented. I walked away with further appreciation of this resilient city and its people.

Visitors to Christchurch city should visit this place. We were two mature women, who hadn't been to the city since the earthquake. Very informative, interesting, sobering experience. We spent almost two hours discovering details of the earthquake. Thanks to Paul for his great customer service.

The staffs are very very nice. And the museum itself is informative as well. However, as a city that has got 2 big earthquakes recently, this museum seems to be too simple and too small, but $20 per adult price is too expensive for that. I think $10 would be much more reasonable. They have long footage of the interviews of people survive the earthquake, but only 1 short footage of when it's happening. I was actually expecting this to be the best earthquake museum, however it's far from my expectation. But it's still worth going as there are info I don't see in other museums.

Great Exhibition to visit. $20 per Adult and Kids are free. It's worth a visit to see or remember what happened during the Earthquake that rocked Christchurch. There is also a Lego area for the kids or adults to have a play with. Very educational for the kids and to show them what happened
