★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top little pub, quaintly done up inside also with a good sized beer garden. Comfortable beds, and food was good too. Staff pleasant and helpful even in the busy times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were very rude. I asked what the salad of the day was. The bar staff replied chicken something. I suffer from food allergies ( carrie Epipens everywhere !) I asked if she knew the ingredients and she replied no. Nice if your a local but if your not you sure know it !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my first visit after years I barely recognized it when I entered this pub. Beautifully refurbished in a rustic hunters look, it's giving it a nice cozy country-pub atmosphere. No surprise that even on a week day this place is buzzing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience was wonderful - great food and wine consumed beside the dining room fireplace by knowledgeable, friendly staff. This hotel has a lot of very interesting history dating back to early 1800's which has been retained with relics and memorabilia on display.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It looks like a nice pub and the staff and proprietor are friendly... but to not be able to serve dinner for 90 minutes on a Friday evening and to not let us know until an hour after we ordered seems to indicate they need to be better on their game. But they did give us a refund and an apology so I'd try again if I had enough time...
