Introducing Nick – Tauranga’s proven Audio Visual and electrical installer
Business owner Nick grew up and gained majority of his industry experience in Sydney. He is a tertiary trained sound engineer with over 20 year’s experience in the teaching and production of music. He specialises in creative solutions and installation of everything audio and visual. He is a passionate sound and technology enthusiast who is always seeking and researching the latest tech.
Nick has worked on multiple specialist contracts throughout Sydney – his clients included Homebush Stadium, Randwick Racecourse, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Sydney Aquatic Centre and Sydney International and Domestic Airports.
Nick is also a fully qualified electrician and can help with anything from a new plug to completely rewiring a house or venue from the floor up. This gives him a capacity not usually found in a sound engineer as he can look at the whole picture when fitting out a venue or house.
Nick and his wife Deborah and their three small children are now based in Tauranga New Zealand. They have taken on the challenge of two local Tauranga businesses Alliance – Audio Visual and Electrical and Next Generation Electrical which they have now rebranded into Alliance – Audio Visual and Electrical.
Nick is also certified in Bosch communications and is licensed to work at height.

The electrician was offered an opportunity to see the job on site, as they could not do the job we requested, furthermore they tried to sell something else with higher price which was rejected, then they drove away. it was shocking they issued an invoice to us for nothing they had done. this is very dishonest and unprofessional!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Professional and experienced. Having worked at a movie studio it pays to hire someone with actual professional work experience, not just an installer. Had a 65” LG OLED (which I brought from the US) installed on the wall..Nick went out of his way to ensure what I had already set up worked (Vodafone and Freeview through a DVB Converter), and my US formatted equipment through a router with a VPN set to US.
Both work PERFECTLY. Installation is very clean. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone wanting quality installation. I’ll be having him back to install a TV in the bedroom. (NZ one this time).
