★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rants always sound awful online. We are certainly not 'serial complainers' but moving is such a stressful time. Don't add to your stress by choosing this company. Here is why: A litany of mistakes from the word go. Mistakes connected to poor communication between the company and us and between dispatch and moving consultant, admin and moving consultant and dispatch and moving lads etc etc. Nobody seemed to know what anybody else was doing. Wrong dates written down, pick up was not on day promised by moving consultant, delivery 3 days late, other people's goods in our delivery truck, dispatch person in the middle of all the associated stress ringing up and haughtily opening the conversation with " your access looks horrendous". They had known about difficulty of access from day one and chose then to try to add $300 dollars to the $4090 we had already paid for the worst service I have ever encountered. There were other things too but that is enough! Only positives were delivery men at finishing line were friendly and efficient & a couple of admin people did their best to assist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing service, however due to the COVID restrictions our items have not been delivered yet (we booked a half freight) but this was communicated and we accepted the wait as we needed to get to our safe bubble. From the moment I applied for a quote to the morning our items were picked up was probably less than 5 days. The communication at every step has been amazing, and I trust that when delivery day comes around it will be as smooth as it was on collection. The movers were quick and organised, we were in awe of how easily they lifted boxes - like Hercules and with such ease! We were on tight time restrictions as Allied were aware of so the ensured we were the first stop that morning and it was all packed up super quickly. I cannot recommend enough, if we are needing to move large items in the future I won't hesitate to choose Allied again. If you need to move things use these guys. 10/10

Very nice people to have in the house, calmed us down at a busy time. Simon in Oamaru drive out in the weekend to scope the delivery. Many thanks.
