★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for coffee and cake in the area one lazy afternoon around 4pm and ended up at this clean, quiet place.
Flat white's is ordinary but the burnt cheesecake is creamy and superb!
Friendly staff is always a plus!
P.S. Spend $50 at any of Britomart's 65+ participating businesses and get 2 hours' free parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and service! Ordered a lot of food and all were beautiful! They are quite pricey but worth it - Pork pinchitos and courgette tostada were the highlight of the menu! And the oysters were really fresh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alma last night was good but not great asI had expected from the reviews. Service was outstanding and especially that our waitress steered us away from ordering too much. My cocktail, called simply ‘Tomato’ was so good and a great start. I loved the delicious complementary bread. And the HIP Group standard of complimentary sparkling water (so easy with sodastream, I don’t know why more restaurants don’t offer it). But the food was mostly just ok. The scampi was bland and definitely not worth $50. We also had Sebiche, nice but not amazing. The anchovies and tomato were a standout even if you don’t usually like anchovies. We finished with Pork Pinchitos and mushrooms. Both were good but I expected to be wowed and wasn’t. The bill was a pleasant surprise as very reasonable price for 3 drinks and 6 dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Andalusian food. Definitely coming back. Had Anchovies and Octopus as well as empanadas. Food is cooked on an open fire grill. They bake their own bread in their oven on premise. The sourdough bread with crispy crust is a real treat with the specially grown olive oil. Staff actually walk you through the whole menu. Ask for Nina if you want attentive care! Very impressed with the whole experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning food and great service. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door (even though we didn’t have a booking - luckily we got the last table for two). Our waitress was knowledgeable and super lovely. Food was some of the best I’ve eaten in Auckland and different to what’s on the menu anywhere I’ve visited recently. Very good value for money given the quality of everything. Will definitely be back.
