★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are nothing like the photos on website, draughty with many broken fittings. My elderly Mum was here and for 3 days she had no hot water. They offered her another room to shower in but it was used and dirty. After a cold shower in her room it then flooded the carpet throughout the room. Receptionist was apologetic and tried to help but the manager was arrogant and didn’t care. Would never recommend ever staying here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The photos do not represent all rooms. Unexpectantly stayed in the house next door. This property does not meet the fire standards as doors are not rated and suspect walls and ceilings do not meet minimum half hour standard.
Arrived in evening, no escort to room, therefore hunted around in the dark, without success. Gave up and went back to reception for escort.
Restaurant closed and not providing breakfast, therefore handed continental. Disappointed again as cooked breakfast was sought and another reason for booking.
Booked through booking.com with conditions that money not taken from credit card prior to arrival. When arriving at reception observed that credit card has amount deducted.
Very expensive for quality of product and do not recommend. Will never stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed here before and had stayed in the motel units at a really reasonable price booked through booking.com. This time I phoned and got the cheapest room (family emergency brought us to Auckland and needed a room quickly?) and I paid more than I ever had and the room was nowhere as good. Still nice and clean, bathroom small very low toilet, terrible for someone my size, shower unit had steps that you could easily slip on. Rather disappointed with this stay. A shame we could not get one of the motel units for a much better price booking online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible, noisy & dirty. Ant infestation in the kitchen, grime in the corners, ripped curtains & no sky tv although advertised as included. Needs upgrading. Not enough car parks, cafe not operating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here once before and it was nice But disappointed this time. Upon arrival informed that there was no sky tv as advertised and cafe was not operating anymore but too late for us to cancel booking!
Our first room was noisy, set between the laundry and accommodation above. After some debating with a staff member we were finally moved to another room.
The second was a bit better with a comfy bed. A very bare room, no brochures or information and a very dated decor with chipped paintwork, ripped net curtains, grotty corners, hanging electric wires etc. There were ants over the kitchen bench and when I moved the microwave I could see why, it was filthy. The toilet ran continuously & the neighbors were quite noisy., smoking outside and arguing through the night. Maybe WINZ accommodation?
We thought it was cheap for how it was portrayed online but the reality was far different & we definitely got what we paid for I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room wasn’t very clean. Needed a vacuum……Found long black hair in a couple of places including bed.
- shower seemed clean.
- Wifi was good and large fridge was handy.
- Very rundown…..marks and chipped paint on all walls, marks on chair (stains or dirt), patches in carpet, Toilet roll holder falling off and toilet ran all the time trying to refill but leaking.
- marks and cracks on tiles
- No sky tv as advertised.
