★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indeed very good experience with Amber Kiwi, booked one night, stayed for three. The owners were rather helpful and friendly. The camping yard was tidy and nice. I like the setting out of the camping area, but big but cosy, feeling like at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The holiday park itself was spacious enough, clean and close to town. But the old guy who showed up for “emergency contact” was extremely rude. We had a trouble with washing machine so called emergency on the reception door since there was no outside hour contact or anything, a guy came up very upset and the first thing he said was “is this earthquake or gun shooting”. Then he asked my nationality which I felt very offended.
Overall, it’s an alright campsite to stay but don’t stay if you’re thinking to do your laundry or expect for a warm welcoming service. Because you can get none of them!

The owners are very helpful and approachable . They looked after my bike while I did a side trip by the Inter city. I will be back

We had to change our bookings several times due to work constraints and they were very helpful in facilitating the changes. Would definitely stay here again! The park is neat and clean and had everything we needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small holiday park conveniently close to the city and shops. The grounds are attractive and well kept, with great facilities for families and single travellers alike. Everything is always spotlessly clean and the staff and owners are a pleasure to deal with. I always stay at the park when I am in Christchurch and while it may cost slightly more to stay it is definitely worth it. Thanks to Braden, Sharon and their awesome team for always going the extra mile to ensure my stay is comfy, convenient and stress free. Will definitely see you again.
