About Amline Freighters
Amline Freighters was originally established in 2007 by Alex Roberson under a different name as a single truck operation to provide a more personalised, versatile service to independent produce wholesalers across the Bay of Plenty.
Having worked in both the Produce and Transport industries for several years, Alex saw a gap in the market and decided things could be done with more pride, care, and attention to detail.
In 2008, Alex's brother Miles came onboard to look after adminstration and allow Alex to focus on the daily operations. Amline Freighters was incorporated and a second truck was added to increase our servicing capabilities.
After some significant growth over the years, In 2018 we decided to take on a new General Manager so that we could ensure we maintained the high level of service our customers had become accustomed to.
We have gone from strength to strength, a fleet of 6 Trucks and a team of 8 staff, however we still operate on the solid principles and fundamentals of offering a great service at a fair price for our customers.
While Refrigerated Produce still remains at the core of our business, Amline has since expanded into other areas of transportation services.
