I was greeted almost immediately on entering which is always nice when you go to a new place. They were kind to me and there was a lively atmosphere. Initially I was attended by someone who didn't seem as skilled in the acrylics department. (I was getting acrylic refills with gel polish, one of my nails had fully come off so they were starting that one from scratch.) The lady who took over tho seemed much more experienced. There was a little pain but it was reasonably minimal and usually I realied the pain was there bc of a certain reason unique to me. The colour they applied wasn't exactly the colour I had chosen. I believe the number had rubbed off the swatch and they were just guessing which colour seemed most likely to be it. They did a decent job on shaping but the application could have been better as I ended up with a small piece on the new nail sticking out and there seemed to be some small bubbles that wouldn't be seen from far but could be seen closer up. Overall it's the best place I've been to in Wellington thus far, although I've only lived in Wellington for 2 years.
UPDATE: The quality ended up being not great. 2 nails broke within a week or 2 which has never happened to me and I wasn't working with my hands or anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an unexpected day off work and was able to wander in and get my hair permanent straightened here which is great because other places I would have to wait. The price was also the cheapest I had been quoted and included a trim. Service was friendly, salon had plenty of space and very pretty decorations. Amy was very nice and highly professional. Most importantly my hair looks amazing. Feels good to have finally found a good hairdresser thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received the eye trio from this place and I am not at all happy with what happened. I was told the lash and brow tint would be left for 10-15 minutes but instead I was left for an hour and a half. When you can’t open your eyes and you can’t tell if there’s even someone in the room or close by this can feel terrifying. My eyes also started to sting a lot and I had no one to come help, although there’s the option to yell out for someone this is not something that you can expect everyone to feel comfortable doing when your eyes are shut and you know there are a bunch of strangers in the main room who will hear you too. I fell asleep multiple times in this wait period and this made me tired for the rest of the day, my time was also wasted being there much longer than anticipated. I didn’t complain straight after the service as it had been so stressful and scary for me that I just wanted to get out of there. I came back a week later to complain and ask for a refund but they refused to give me one saying there was nothing wrong with my brows and lashes, they wouldn’t understand the real issue and all they offered was a free treatment but clearly I will not be going back there.
Update: I was told to delete this review in order to receive a refund but they have gone back on that saying they can’t give me a full refund anymore so keeping this here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister got her eyelashes tinted here, the lady said she would be back in ten minutes and left her in the room with her eyes closed for an HOUR AND A HALF. She had forgotten about her. Many times her eyes stung and she was drifting in and out of sleep and had no clue of the time because she had to keep her eyes closed. She was terrified. She quickly got out of there as soon as she could after that experience. She came back a week later to complain and request a refund which I witnessed and the woman had no sympathy for what she put my sister through, said her eyes looked good and that she will not give her a refund. She did not understand how unsafe and horrible that experience was for her own customer. All she kept offering was a free haircut. She also kept bringing up that she could not do a refund because she needed to pay tax and gst and kept trying to make us feel sorry for her. DO NOT GO HERE.

They were friendly and super efficient when booking and I was able to just send a message on messenger to do this. The salon is really lovely and very clean and the staff did a great job with our manicures and pedicures and were lovely. Thanks for the great service would recommend :)
