★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent spot for a family picnic. Great playground for kids and plenty of room to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. Very well maintained grounds with a nice little bush walk, perfect for rock hunting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really lovely park, hidden away from the general tourist. It is located north of Invercargill and off a side road, but definitely a lovely place for a family picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top area for any function. Could do with little updating or maintenance in the hire bbq/kitchen area but still turns out great in photos. Would be ideal for a lovley Cafe in the old Anderson house (currently undergoing earthquake proofing) also selling food for the ducks help with kids experience and hire outdoor games as the grounds are a great size, Nice to walk around and little bush walks too. Children's playground is awesome place to keep your kids happy and a water fountain and toilets too
