★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk in is easy. I found it a bit boring to be honest but it was an easy walk for my two young boys. Just need to be mindful with kids of the drop off to the river.
Consists of two huts , one with 8 bunks and another 2 in the other hut (Hazeldines hut).
Only an hours walk in pretty much following an old 4wd track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here in December 2021. I arrived soaking wet after walking all day in the rain and a cold southerly wind. It was a day when I really appreciated having a dry and sheltered place to change out of wet clothes, cook a hot meal and sleep without worrying about the elements. There's also a pot belly stove.
