★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ballast packed up after 2 years service ( was 3yrs old so out of warranty). Took it in to Dave to be assessed. He stated it had fried as a result of a massive power surge. Not true. There is a working surge protector on the power point and my Water Filter guy stated that when he replaced the UV lamp, he switched the UV unit on and it then blew. Not a power surge. My water guy states that he is loosing business over these Wykomar ballasts and the non-existent support of Aqua Dynamics. Under the consumer guarantee act a product must have a fair and reasonable life. This is not the case with these. Feel like I got some mansplaining and basically the run around. GO ELSEWHERE.
