After a long and extremely helpful conversation I placed my order which arrived at the other end of the country within 3 days. The gear is awesome. High quality and beautiful. β β β β β 11/10 ! My partner and I had a blast at Archery Park learning how to shoot arrows and then hunting dragons in the forest. From our safety brief and basic training to explaining finer points and details about archery, Markus had our whole group ready to slay dragons in no time. We went from rookies to feeling like robin hood AND he took photos of our group throughout the whole experience and sent them to us for free - what a legend! I can't recommend this place enough : )

β β β β β Joined the Dragon Hunt in January 2022 with my daughter (13) and son (11). Markus, our guide, did an excellent job of helping each participant improve their archery skills throughout the day. The walk through the woods provided a beautiful change of scenery and some difficulty that sharpened our focus as "dragon hunters." I am glad to recommend this outing for aspiring archers and families looking for a fun challenge.

β β β β β Marcus was a great instructor, patient at teaching and attentive to give us guidance for the best results. The course was a great combination of nature walk and dragon hunting. Marcus was knowledgeable on the local plants and gave interesting insight into the impact of pests on the area (particularly wasps).
We have been recommending it to our friends and would love to go again next time weβre in the area.

Also he always keeped and eye on us doing little adjustment our technique (PS: The picture that he took were amasing!)

β β β β β Overall awesome experience. I'm no archer but still and a great time. Some archery experience is good but not essential as the course can be made easier or more difficult to account for your skill. A bit pricey but It's a solid 4 hours of adventure entertainment so great value for money. Guides were super friendly and supportive, they also sent us some photos after which was a nice touch. A level of fitness is required but if you can walk a km or two on gravel, and have some upper body strength you'll be fine. Bring your parents but probably not grandma. Would highly recommend, this was one of the highlights of our Nelson trip!
