From a river stream in which you can cool off in the hot summer day, to amazing hospitality of Annika and Luke - this was our best stay in NZ. Oh, and not to mention the fresh organic produce from their garden.

β β β β β Warm and caring hospitality. So far away so close to Nelson. A place of peace and healing loved to roam around the woods and scrubs being one in nature. Learning from Annika the host of the medicinal qualities. She even went out of her way to gather roots and leaves to make a jar of healing tea. Who does that these days. It is a very special space to stay. Magical and caring in all its dimensions. Thank you beautiful Irving family.

β β β β β Very original and super decorated sleeping barrels. Our kids thought they were in Hobbiton! With the kitchen, outside table and huge garden real camping plus atmosphere. Thank for this unique experience!

β β β β β Hira Oasis is such a beautiful and special place to stay. I stayed with my wife and our little boy for a few days.
The log cabins are just so cool, you will love it. Cozy when it's windy and rainy. The sound of the weather on the roof when you're all toasty inside is awesome. They are really cool and comfy in the evening when the sun's been out all day too. ?
Sit out under the stars and have your own candle lit space to chill around a brazier. Oh, and the kitchen facility is super cute.
You will feel like you have known, Annika and Luke, the hosts for years. They are just so welcoming and down to earth and they have the most adorable family. ?
There's alpaca in one of the fields and a flying-fox hidden amongst the trees. Diesel (the friendliest, cutest, softest, most, I wanna take you home dog in the world) will help you keep an extra sharp eye out for anchors in trees, pixies, fairies and dreadlock magic as you wander.

β β β β β Great overnight stay at Hira Oasis. Three of us in a single "barrel". Very comfy. Lovely grass area outside to play cricket and football on. Highly recommended if looking for something different near Nelson.
