★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourites in Nelson. The food is superb, as is the wine selection to accompany the great dishes. I highly recommend the broccoli, but all the dishes are great.
The ambience and the decor are well set, as is the friendly and knowledgeable service. A place not to miss in Nelson.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm welcome from friendly staff, nice ambience, and very prompt service ... and then the food .... ooooohhhhhhh my goodness! It was difficult to choose from so many mouth watering selections, and when served they were a delight on the palate. Will have to come back at least twice more just to sample everything. Thank you for a delightful evening!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING! The whole "sharing" food idea was super chic. The lighting and vibe of the whole place was so cool and intimate. And the food, oh my God. So delicious. We ended up ordering about 4 things between two and thought that we would have leftovers, but it was all just so good that we ate it all! Definitely recommend ?

Friendly greeting check, look of restaurant check, walk through to courtyard...wait a minute...huge check ;) Ambience, decor, efficiency, cocktail list and menu more huge checks, food and drinks excellent in all respects. Kudos to Arden, Nelson's very own laneway restaurant to be reckoned with

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting place to eat. Select what you want to eat and each plate comes out tapas style and size as it is cooked. The service was exceptional.. friendly and attentive. Good wine list to choose from. Lovely sheltered courtyard out the back. My only gripe was the grilled broccoli and miso sauce dish which was far too salty for me. The pork belly, gnocchi, green vegetables were stunning. Its a very busy place which is testament to the quality of the food. Its not cheap but excellence never is
