★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utilitarian, as all NZMCA camps like this are. Great starting leg for a busy long weekend, as close to the city. Then barrel on down early next day for weekend escape, and avoid the traffic congestion. Has an arrangement with the Air Cadets camp to use showers, toilets etc for a nominal fee.
