They messed up the bill, tried to overcharge us, wait staff were clearly not interested in serving customers but more in what they got upto in their free time as well as swearing in front of not alone us customers but the children... needless to say we won't be going back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately there was nothing enjoyable about any of our meals tonight which is a Shane as we had driven from waimari beach to kaiapoi as we had been for lunch a few weeks ago and it was lovely. Over salted and super glugy hotpot, split, oily and burnt tasting fettuccine sauce, dry chicken schnitzel with a mushroom sauce that tasted more like butter and had many 3 tiny pieces of mushroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant use to be fantastic, but lately the service is pathetic! Me and my family walked out after we waited more than 10 min for menu's, we were greater at the door upon entry but that was it! We had to seat ourselves and wait and wait then my wife went to the counter to ask for menu's and then we waited and waited again! Pathetic to say the least!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly service and food is just fine (bland) something is missing too much souce and too hot (might burn a tongue) needs something to complement other than gravy.
Some spice is required for the souce in general.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chilli-cheese ciabatta bread is absolutely to die for! If bread and cheese are your vices then you will not be disappointed with that starter. The chicken tenders were really nice and juicy, the barbeque sauce was really good too. Plenty of choice drinks-wise so you'll definitely find something you like. The restaurant was very relaxed, the staff were kind and attentive. Perfect place for an easy dinner with mates.
