★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place with great views. Private unit with great breakfast provided. Lovely hosts who provide all sorts of thoughtful extra items such as fresh fruit, chocolate, quality coffee and personal care items you might have forgotten to bring. Not too long a drive to civilisation, but nice to wake up to the sound of a cow mooing! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got home from a relaxing and very comfortable weekend in the Tauranga area, staying two nights at Arohanui Rural Retreat. Very nice accomadation, stunning surroundings and friendly hosts. I opened the curtains each morning to an awesome view overlooking a huge valley, bush and farmland, all the way out to the sea inlets. Highly recommend Richard's and Dianne's B&B.

Very close to Tauranga but yet away from all the noise.. enjoyed lovely breakfast and evening spa with sunset .. our 5 yr old would vanish for few minutes running behind birds but we wouldn't worry as it's very safe..
