Mum had put so much thought and time into designing their own headstone for her & dad’s final resting place and when I visit them at Maunu Cemetery it brings a tear to my eye that her wish was fulfilled in every detail. Mum I know you are smiling down and would want me to give a BIG thank you to the team at Art in Stone for their professionalism, craftsmanship and most importantly caring support at these sad times in a family’s journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was super glad and %110 absolutely over the moon with the headstone Trish and the team had created for my dad. We were looking for a custom headstone to fit perfect with his personality and they did exactly that! With a few personal touches and modifications from there team the outcome was as perfect as could be, everything we hoped it would look like but better. When we collected the stone from there warehouse the stone masons took a lot of time making sure the stone was tightly secured on the back of the ute. Good communication throughout and great customer service ? Highly recommended Art in stone. Thanks so much guyss ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This family run buisness is the place to go. The owner Trish and her daughter and son add the personal genuine service that is second to none. Trish was so wonderful to help generate 2 of the most beautiful headstones for my son and daughter. What really stood out compared to other headstone places was their genuine care about the end product and making it affordable and going above and beyond what one would expect to make the small meaningful intricacies on the stone perfect in some areas at their cost..... I can't put the extent of my gratitude into words it's just not possible. Thank you Art in Stone everyone is commenting on the stones and how they represent both children perfectly reflecting who they were so well. Nga mihi nui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In December 2019 with the assistance and expertise of Waka Kotahi, led by the regional manager Jacqui Hori-Hoult, the remains of 14 of our ancestors were reburied in the Kaeo Public Cemetery.
The remains were originally buried in a private cemetery dating back 178 years.
In 2020, Art in Stone was commissioned to restore and relocate the original headstones found on the original burial site and also supply and erect three new headstones so all the ancestors reburied were recorded and honoured.
Shelley also wanted to tell the family story, working with Trish and Samantha from Art in Stone a large ceramic photo plaque set out as a family tree was decided upon and coupled with the new and original headstones, the end result is a stunning memorial to these early settlers of Kaeo.
The descendant families are very pleased with the amazing end result.
We would like to thank the whole team for their professionalism and hard work throughout this journey, you all made our experience a very special one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On behalf of our whanau we would like to FINALLY thank the wonderful team at Art In Stone. Not only for their beautiful workmanship but also their professionalism. From start to finish they were patient, supportive and caring. Our original unveiling date had to be postponed due to borders in & out of Auckland being closed in 2021. It was decided that the headstone be laid anyway and kept wrapped up until we were able to plan another date.
To the gentlemen who laid mum's headstone, thank you for looking after her on that part of the journey.
We were able to unveil her beautiful headstone March 5th 2022.

Adele in the shop was efficient, friendly and sympathetic. They were true to their promise with regards to the timeline for manufacture and installation at the cemetery.
