β β β β β Average dated facility
Condescending and passive aggressive signage Everywhere with rules and dos and donts. It's a bit pedantic really. A behaviour bond tho? Guys that's a bit weird for a camp ground.....
Site was a bit rough. Had a massive hole in the ground that we had to try and dodge for days rolling ankles and trying to cover up so we stopped hurting ourselves. There was nice lawn everywhere though. It looked good. We had kids running around shaking our tent and yelling and running away into the bushes which just really peeved us off and didn't help the situation.
Dont know if we'd be back.

β β β β β Make sure you take insect repellent that works!! Great river to swim in with family. Picnic tables available. Take your rubbish home with you. Worth a visit if wanting a safe river dip. There is a bush walk on other side of bridge.

β β β β β Great camp ground with good facilities. Owners were particularly helpful in regards to our booking with the kids being first-time campers. They were super friendly during our stay. Will defintely be back.

β β β β β Love this place. Our first camping in NZ with kids, and kids love it. They have toilet and kitchen for campers. Easy for you to prepare food in the communal kitchen and eat in there as sun flies (bugs) may interrupting you eating outside sometimes especially at night. Don't forget to bring insect repellent here

β β β β β We spent new years here with our friends and two small children. We stayed in a cabin and it was great. Had everything we needed. The facilities were very clean and the BBq too. Our children had a ball down at the river and riding around the camp on there bikes. Hosts worked very hard to keep the park clean over the busy period emptying bins and regular toilet cleans. They also did so well to keep the atmosphere family friendly and safe during new years which we appreciated with our little girls. We absolutely recommend staying here. We were sad to leave and will be back again soon β€οΈ

β β β β β Aerogard spray protection works 100% not a single mosquito bite. There's no phone coverage at the camp so bring power banks as your phone will eat through it's battery searching for network.
Nice spot to enjoy the river and a new hiking track to a small waterfall been add. Little one can make it up their with lots of encouragement and patience, make sure you take snacks.

β β β β β This looks a lovely place to camp in the summer months and it is right beside a river which is on a public reserve where people can come and go without having to stay at the camp if they don't want. Very easy access to the water and some public toilets etc close by. I believe there is a loop track nearby for those who are keen for a walk etc. The township of Oxford isn't too far away should you want cafes or a medium sized supermarket for supplies.

β β β β β Fantastic camp ground if you are holidaying with your dog! 4 designated pet friendly powered sites. Heaps of space (idea if you have a large dog like us) and only a few minutes walk from the river. Fantastic amenities, clean and tidy plus super friendly and helpful campsite owners.
