★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiya - this will be brief as heading out, but wanted to put a review before time flies and then its December again (LOL). Anyway, I read the reviews on this page and I agree with them. I had the fortunate of meeting Roy a few years ago and he was able to help me find my first investment home - it was "scary and a dream come true" to own a rental home and without Roy's help it would have just been a dream. He was very helpful and went beyond what was expected of a"kaiako". He cares about his clients and wants the best for them and for them (us) to fulfill our dreams of becoming landlords and eventually in control of our destinies... I think sometimes in life you have to trust someone - and Roy is someone you can trust when it comes to buying a home or investment - you will not be disappointed and this will be a good investment and many more to come.... I found him honest, reliable and always wanting to help you and will always have the answer for things and if he does not know he know who to refer you to.... do not let this opportunity pass you.... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before we decide to work with Roy, we have got two properties for our family and attended a dozen of different property investment seminars and road tours that also offer a variety of investment property strategies. The biggest advantage of working with Roy is that we can be as much involved as we want or completely hands off and leave it to him based on his great understanding and analytical skills of our circumstances. His hold-your-hand approach that has made our first investment property purchase much more pleasant, least stress and achieve and exceed our expectations. We are looking forward to growing our portfolio with him.

Though it originally seemed like a lot of money to pay someone to help us find our next investment property, now we've nearly completed the process, it's a bargain! This is where we wanted to work with someone who possesses honesty and integrity, knowledge of the purchase process, and understands the local housing market. This is how we met Roy Adams from Asset Consulting; he was recommended by one of our friends and I would be thanking my friend for the rest of my life for it.
We are a small family of 4. After our first meeting with him, we found that Roy is responsive, possesses knowledge of the real estate market, communication skills & negotiation skills. He is an engaging personality and pays attention to every finer detail. After the first meeting, we knew, we got the right man to find our first home dream a reality. His first priority is always to understand what his client wants and enlighten them about what they can achieve and how that can be achieved. He is just a phone call way for any query/clarification/advice.
The real estate market changed drastically, swung like a pendulum both Pre and Post COVID-19. Our preference was to buy a property in North Shore and Roy’s recommendation and advice helped us to sail through that period. He is like a man with ice in his veins and the patience of half of the world. He always stays calm and kept us telling us that he is going to find us the best home and in October 2020, that promise became a reality and we bought our first home. The home not only met our expectations but beat our expectations by a mile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have some experience in looking at properties but had heard that Roy would be a great person to contact to try and see what the Auckland market was doing. I also wanted him to help find me another property to purchase, which he did. The process was really easy as he would ask me what I was trying to achieve and what I could do and couldn't. I also attended several of his classes to see if he knew what he was talking about. This was because there are so many people out there who states that they know to do when investing in properties etc. I found out that Roy does know the market and knows the property market very well. He guided me through the process and we finally got a home and income. I would highly recommend Roy to anyone who wants to invest in the property market as he will ensure that you go in with your eyes wide open and he would never leave you hanging. His job is not until the client is happy with their purchase. If any renovation is needed then he would organise this as well.

Looking back to the process of buying a house, I don’t think I could have made such a great decision without Roy. As a foreigner, understanding the NZ housing market was a challenge, all the types of loans, different types of houses and materials, titles and legislation, even the process of putting an offer was all new to me, and it was adding more stress to the process. After looking for a house on my own, I knew about Roy and contacted him, since the first meeting he was kind, approachable and extremely knowledgeable. His service closed all the knowledge gaps I was facing to make a decision. Once Roy started working with me, everything became way easier. Roy understood exactly what I was looking for, and he came up with a solid plan to find a house. Apart from helping me, he made sure I understood every single part of the process, and he was extremely thoughtful when we were evaluating different options.
When I finally found the house I liked, he helped me with all the due diligence and putting the offer, he helped me find the good solicitors for good prices and he never let me alone during the process. Now I’m happily writing this review from my own home.
I think Roy is the perfect example of “going the extra mile” and through patience, knowledge and wide smile you can see how passionate he is about helping people finding their home.
I would totally recommend Roy to anyone who is looking for a house, I gained so many insights after working with Roy. His support during such an important process was priceless.
