About Ata Touch
In 2008 Peter and Jain Tait looked at building their new home. With his knowledge in industrial automation, Peter went on a quest to find the latest technologies available in energy efficiency and home automation, only to discover that the technology on offer was outdated, expensive, and not focused on energy savings. Disappointed by these findings they decided to develop their own energy efficient home that was reliable, holistic and not controlled by a central hub with all the cabling and expensive intricacies of the then present home automation offerings. Their home technology uses the wealth of knowledge, design, development and manufacture that TCS has pioneered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would recommend that everyone avoid using the climate control component of the ATA Touch system in a ducted air conditioning system; It does not work like a typical ducted unit; the temperature constantly yo-yo's during a cold day by up to 5c below the room's setpoint. This behaviour has been verified up by 4 independent temperature sensors, including the sensor built in to the system.
In my honest opinion, the customer support we have received on this issue has been unsupportive to say the least, and ATA Touch indicate this is how the system should be working.
