There is no office, no one to call , no email. They took my payment and I have been looking for the office at the address and nothing. You would think they would call me to see if I'm coming. I want a call back for a new appointment or my money back. There's a chance this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY. Business does not exist. There is no business sign on the building, no phone, nothing

Auckland Counselling Clinic is unlike any place I've been before. The whole experience of visiting this place always makes me relaxed and excited to visit again. Above and beyond customer service and incredible counsellors make appointments a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone wholeheartedly.

This business is permanently closed. No correspondence is replied to and no forwarding/contact details have been given. A ghost business.

Booked this clinic due to the highly rated google reviews. Well what a mistake that was! They don't have a receptionist so you have to call to leave a message and then they call you back sometimes. Customer service is trash and for a place that claims they care about their patients absolutely do not, was treated so badly by this place would advise anyone looking for genuine help to AVOID this place. They're happy to book take your money but not show any empathy when you need it. So many other clinics that actually care for people out there!

I implore anyone thinking of using the services of Auckland Counselling clinic to read my review in full, I would hate for someone else to have the experience my partner and I have had. After dozens of unanswered calls and no attempt from Auckland Counselling Clinic to help, only deflection and blatant ignoring this review is all i can really do. My fiancé had a fifty-minute session booked for the cost of $140 to help with some difficult feelings she had been experiencing, largely linked to a pregnancy she was going through at the time. A day before her scheduled appointment she experienced serious abdominal pain and upon calling her Doctor, on direct instruction, immediately went to hospital. While waiting in the hospital she successfully rescheduled her appointment at the Auckland Counselling Clinic for two days later. After numerous tests and an overnight stay in the hospital it was found that she was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and needed to have emergency surgery. Due to her kind nature and the importance she puts on her counselling sessions she made two calls before going into surgery, one to myself for support and one to the Auckland Counselling Clinic to inform them due to her unforeseen surgery she will not be able to make the appointment, thus will need to either reschedule or have a skype session, as recovery from the surgery would take some time. There was no answer so she left a message (which was not returned until a week later). The experience in hospital resulted in losing the pregnancy and undergoing a traumatic surgery which understandably put her in further distress. We are not financially well off and $140 is a large amount of money that goes a long way, so you can imagine the disappointment when after a week her message was returned to have someone essentially tell her tough luck, she will need to pay another $140 if she wanted an appointment. I am so incredibly disgusted and upset that an organisation that claims to operate “with care and understanding” and to offer services “when needed most” turned their back on someone who was seeking help when circumstances out of their control meant they were unable to make it. I’m sure the repercussions of neglecting mental health are not lost on you, hence why it pains me to know how much stress my partner has had to go through because of this and the lack of empathy from Auckland Counselling Clinic. On another note, my partner and I have called numerous times, left messages which have not been returned and now, each time I call instead of receiving a voicemail prompt the line disconnects. This is not a fault with my phone or line as I have tried this on more than one mobile, network and times throughout the day.

I made an online appointment for a family member, the money had to be paid up front as a first time client. This was paid in November 2021. On the day of the appointment 06 December 2021, one hour before the session, I received a TEXT saying due to covid the session would have to be via zoom or a refund would be arranged that day by Neil Oliver. The family member did not want a zoom meeting so I asked for a refund and supplied a bank acct. On 20 December I had not received the refund and as of today 12 January 2022 nothing. Nothing refers to no money, no returned calls via 021 mobile or 0800 leaving messages and even a visit to the premises was a waste of time. I have checked with the body who governs Psychologists and Neil Oliver is not registered with them. I did not cancel the appointment, Auckland Counselling Clinic cancelled it. I would not recommend this Clinic due to their poor customer service and failure to return funds that they were not entitled to for services they did not provide. Happy to hear from you Neil or you could just return the money as you have my bank acct already.
