★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing display of a T-Rex, very cool to see one in New Zealand!! Parking was super easy (not sure you are meant to park on the grass, but every other car was also parked on the grass, maybe it's accepted during busy times). Many interesting displays to look at for young kids and also plenty to keep adults occupied.
Floor signage/arrows would make navigation better and help with the flow of foot traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About a 2-3 hour walk out from Chateau Tongariro. It's a round walk through bush, across open areas with great views returning through more Bush and along a river. Easy walking with some ups and downs. Fantastic falls and well worth the walk.

I love exploring area and all it has to offer.
This is am awesome spot and from the museum has outstanding vistas of the harbour too
