★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered 5.5 cubic meters of garden mix to fill my two planter boxes (5.08cubic metres), however the amount we received was a whole cubic metre short (4.5m^3).
Following this situation we called the local Mt Roskill branch to assess the situation however we were turned away and they had refused to admit to their shortcomings and had the audacity to ask pay for another order. (1m^3: $132)
They commited daylight robbery and we will no longer use their services anymore!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've usually ordered from the St John's branch in the past but saw there's a branch just down the road from me so popped in there to enquire about prices and maybe order something. The youngish Indian dude( ethnicity only mentioned so maybe his boss can identify who I'm talking about) working there had an odd attitude as soon as I started talking to him. Unfriendly, uncommunicative, bare minimum of information provided - basically pretty rude manner. After an awkward couple of minutes conversation I made a move and as I headed back to my vehicle I heard him kicking stones as he went back to the office. Sounded pretty loud so got the feeling he was directing either the stones or his bad energy in my direction. Seriously, worst and weirdest sales assistant I've ever encountered. The sort of sales assistant who seems to think it's ok to make potential customers feel unwelcome. I had thought about ordering some bark and stone there but after meeting that idiot I decided I'd call the St John's branch instead later same day and ordered through them . Approx $900 purchase. Only added some stars for the great helpful service from the St John's branch who would get 5 stars if I hadn't met this other funny guy at Mt Roskill branch. I'm sure there are good people working Mt Roskill too but this guy put me off so won't be returning in near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got No3 sand, Sahil at the yard was very helpful and friendly, accomodating filling the boot as couldn't take advantage of the free trailer. Not an expert but the sand seems to be good quality and definitely will be returning for future needs.

Asked him some stuff about the products and he wasn't even interested in providing a response or trying to find out more. Unfortunately there was nobody else at that time to deal with.
