★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sad empty shell of a once bustling library. Don't tell me it had to close because no one reads anymore. Built in 1924 "in the classical manner". Wonderful street façade once invited the reader into a hall-like room via a recessed portico. A lot of independent thinking once happened here; now the location of junky pop-up shops ?
