Recommended by Isuzu NZ to take my Dmax here for it's 80,000km service. Cost, although very expensive was what I expected with all filters and fluids changed including transmission (at my request). 800km later took the vehicle in for a WOF and failed on front disc pads, something that is required to be checked during the service and are on the service list supplied with the vehicle by Isuzu. Had them replaced the same day and two of the pads had no wear indicator left and only paper thin material left on the backing plate. Contacted Autocare Pukekohe and was asked to send photos of the pads to them which I did. The mechanic who did the work was on a day off and I was told they would discuss the matter with him and get back to me. Haven't heard a thing back, no apology, nothing. Very poor customer service and now wondering what else was ticked as being checked or replaced and hasn't been. Will certainly not be taking my Isuzu back to this authorised Isuzu service agent and won't be recommending to anyone.

Given a quoted price range over the phone then charged $40 over the top end when I picked my car up but when I questioned it the guy played ignorant so I stupidly paid it. About a month later I receive another bill asking for further money as they had invoiced me incorrectly. Talked to manager, he wasn't interested in being helpful and was going to get back to me and another month passed and he's called back and they are demanding payment again. I feel like this is unethical and probably illegal but what do I know!

Had car booked in and was quoted just under $400 for the whole work to be done. When I came to pick the car up they said the bill was $868! Had no contact from them at all throughout this process even tried calling them and they wouldn't say how much it would cost. Definitely wont go there ever again

I am not one to 'bad mouth' a business, but unfortunately my experience with autocare was really bad. We had booked our work vehicle 'a relatively new Holden Colorado' in for a service and cambelt change. $2000 later (we were fine with that thinking the job would be above average). The following day our vehicle broke down 3x due to a part that was damaged the day before during the service (we had no issue what so ever before hand). We were told it was due to the part being contaminated with oil when they removed it to get to the cambelt and would be a quick and simple fix. Returned the vehicle on the Monday to be fixed while we waited (were told it would be 10 minutes), 30 minutes later we went across the road for a coffee and when we returned the vehicle was nearly done. Upon collecting the keys were told, that would be an additional $1000 on top of the service. There was no discussion about the cost of this part to us before they fitted it (so were unable to shop around). Highly disgusted that as a customer who trusted this business with our vehicle to not only be at fault of damaging the part in question, but to then charge us to replace it (as well as additional labour). We will not be back, nor would recommend this business to anyone unless you have a lot of money to spare ?

*Labour they charged not reasonable. *Don't provide guarantee on their work and they charged me again for labour (ok for me to be charged on Parts only) on rework in relation to the fault they were not able to rectify. I returned my car the next day and reported the fault...No compensation at all etc. *They might be good technically but don't look after the customer and no compensation. Will NOT recommend to friends and relatives!

Something unexpected went wrong worry my car. Auto care did a great job to fit me in late notice, identify and fix the fault while I waited. Great service, good price
