★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the meatball and Oh my goodness so yummy! I didn't expect such a good pizza at a bowling Alley. Move over Sal's pizza. Avenue knocks them out of the ballpark. I was full after only just two slices. I compared to a domino's pizza and two slices fills a whole box! As to the one star review let's just say the customer is not always right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza eatery sits inside the bowling alley. They don't have a dedicated oven but the chef is very knowledgeable and informs you of the risk. I never had a reaction. The cider is yummy and the pizzas are soooo delicious. The base is crispy and the flavour of the day was scrumptious. Will be our new go to for pizza when in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real gutted . . $38 for a half n half pizza (gutted I didn't take pic's now but see the previous review for an idea) meetball/pesto and $32 for a pepperoni. SERIOUSLY disappointed. Sad part is, these could have been really good, but the lack of topping and care distributing the topping let these pizzas down. These are expensive pizzas and this experience made me embarrassed for recommending it to friends.

We briefly dipped into everything from methods of cooking to recipes and ingredients and how each element effects the end product. fantastic experience I would definitely encourage anyone to get on board with Jo for a lesson!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza tasted nice but when you order a meatball pizza for 35 dollars you kinda expect more toppings on it not just half a hand full of meat scattered across a big pizza and quite im honestly feel quite ripped off

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is located in the Tenpin bowling alley in Tauranga; so we were a little dubious about what it would be like. As it turned out, they make incredible artisan pizzas. As of now (Jan 2019) there are only four choices: margherita, mushroom, pepperoni, and a special that changes regularly. We opted to split two pizzas: the margherita and mushroom and loved them both, especially with the chili oil they served on the side. We found that one pizza per person was about right for us, but light eaters might be able to split one. This place is truly a gem!
