Naturally I could not speak Japanese, but the procedure was smooth because I originally made a reservation.
It was hard to hear because of the local accent or the English accent, but the service was courteous and friendly

Rented a car from 24 July to 26 July. Called them on 26 July requesting to extend the rental to 27 July and I wanted to return car to the airport branch. They confirmed the rental price would be the same just $40 additional for the airport premium. I said OK. I returned the car 27 July morning at the airport.
29 July I got charged way more than the amount. Called them later that night to clarify the charge breakdown. They can't tell me because they say it's still in the auditing process and should wait for 48 hours after car return. Well it's already past 48 hours??
How can you charge a customer with a certain amount without being able to give the breakdown? Where are you getting the number??
Stay away from Avis.
