★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost no shelter, no proper parking. Layard st is OK for drop offs and pick up however it is a one way, one lane road so you would have to double park. No public toilets seen lots of guys just using the bushes especially after events. Feel sorry for the security guards they usually have their work cut out for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avondale Trainstation is only two stops away from bigger Bellville station. It has ample parking on both sides of the tracks. It’s a popular morning and afternoon commute route as it goes past Canal Walk into town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station is alright but lacking enough shelter. Lighting on the shortest route to Avondale town centre/bus stops (Crayford St) is not great, would recommend using the St Jude's Street if using this station at night and not super keen on walking down dark streets. Layard St is a good place for pick ups and drop offs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice long train station with plenty of entrance, however, there are only limited shelters available; hence, you better get your umbrella ready and set during the rainy seasons. The tag on/off stations are located right on each entrance, and if you need to drop off or pick-up, better use Layard St albeit it's a one-way street. Very close to town centre, and the medical centre is just across the station.
